Hi everyone!

As you may already be aware Jean and I are organising an ‘RA community’ get-together, our annual ‘knees up’ (well, in spirit if not in body!). Those with RA, and their families and friends, are invited to come along to what is always a fun day/weekend. In the past, central locations have been chosen to aid access for those in the north, south west and south east of the UK. As you will appreciate it is not possible to choose a venue that is close to home for everyone but hope that this is the fairest way round things and lots of you will be able to come along and join us.

This year our ‘Get-together’ will be held at the Hilton Hotel, Walsgrave Triangle, Coventry, on Saturday 19th May. A three course hot and cold buffet lunch will be available in the hotel restaurant. Some of us prefer to make a weekend of it and will be staying Friday and Saturday nights. I detail the costs below for those interested.

If you would like to come along please post your name below, state the number of people in your party and whether you intend to stay for the weekend or the day’s event. It would also be helpful to know when you have booked accommodation. This will help us to finalise expected numbers when the time comes. Please ask if you would like more information!

We look forward to meeting you all in May Smile

Hello - wish I could join you! Unfortunately its the start of the silly season for exam marking. The KS2 Sats training is on 19th. So while you are all enjoying the Hilton in Coventry, I will be holed up in a less spectacular hotel in Manchester doing 7 hours of marker training!!! Hope you all have a fantastic time though xx Ailsa

Great news Lorna and Eve BigGrin

Look forward to meeting you Eve and seeing you again Lorna. Already getting excited and it's not too long to wait ThumpUp

Sorry you can't join us Ailsa, what a shame you are going to be "holed -up" in Manchester ... still I can think of worse places! I don't envy the task ahead of you though, but suppose it has to be done ThumbDown One of these days we must meet up, you're really not that far away after all!

Julia, I can't find a rail deal anywhere near as good as yours! That was a real bargain, but heyho, I should be able to arrange to arrive in Coventry at a similar time to you! Will keep you posted Smile

At least you won't be bringing the tone down if you're not there, Dor. I'm not sure The Hilton would appreciate that damned tea trolley being trundled around!

Hello Lyn

I'm sorry I can't be there to meet you all (I just love a bit of mayhem!) but we're off to Portugal. I sincerely hope that I will be able to meet some of you one day as I enjoy your company online so much. Smile
